Privacy Policy
How we handle personal information for clients, website visitors, and the homeowners in the lead data we source.
Last updated: July 28, 2026
01Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how New Neighbor (“New Neighbor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. It applies to our website and our lead sourcing services.
This policy covers three groups of people:
- Clients — the home service businesses that subscribe to our Service;
- Website visitors — anyone who visits getnewneighbor.com; and
- Homeowners and prospects — individuals whose information we process to source leads, and whom our clients may choose to contact.
02Information we collect
From clients
When you sign up or book a demo, we collect business and contact details such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, the territories you select, and billing information processed through our payment provider.
From website visitors
When you visit our site, we may automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, through cookies and similar technologies.
About homeowners and prospects
To source leads for our clients, we collect and process information about properties and their owners or occupants from publicly available and third-party sources, including public web sources, real estate listing feeds, county and public records, and licensed data providers. This may include names, property addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, listing status, and related property attributes. We use this information to identify and verify high-intent homeowners and deliver them as leads to the client that holds the relevant territory.
03How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
- Identify and verify high-intent homeowners and prepare lead lists for clients;
- Deliver leads to the client that holds the relevant territory;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions and territories;
- Maintain suppression lists and honor opt-out requests;
- Communicate with clients about their accounts and provide support;
- Monitor, secure, and analyze usage of the Service; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
05Text message (SMS) notifications
Clients can opt in to receive text messages from New Neighbor, such as new-lead alerts and account or service notifications, at the mobile number they provide. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing the Service.
We do not share your mobile phone number, SMS consent, or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies based on your account activity and notification preferences. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@getnewneighbor.com.
06Contact from our clients and your choices
New Neighbor sources leads; our clients — independent local businesses — decide whether and how to follow up. Any message or call you receive comes from that business, not from New Neighbor, and that business is responsible for its own communications.
If you are a homeowner and prefer not to be contacted, you can opt out directly with the business that contacted you, or reach us at hello@getnewneighbor.com. We add opt-out requests to a permanent suppression list and exclude those contacts from future lead data.
08Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We retain suppression-list entries for as long as necessary to honor opt-out requests. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
09Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Residents of states such as California and others with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights.
To make a request, contact us at hello@getnewneighbor.com. We will verify and respond to your request as required by applicable law. Note that some of the data we process originates from public records and licensed third-party sources.
11Third-party links
Our website and communications may contain links to third-party sites we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices.
12Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
